Sadoff Achieves R2 Certification at Oshkosh and La Vista E-Waste Plants

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction announced that two of its locations have been certified to R2 (Responsible Recycling) Standard by Sustainable Electronics Recycling International (SERI)- the ANSI-accredited Standards Development Organization for the R2 Standard. The two facilities to receive the certification are the ones in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and La Vista, Nebraska.

Jason Lasky, executive vice president of Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction stated that the certification is a testimony of its highest safety and security standards, internationally recognized operating processes and environmental standards. Both the facilities had undergone rigorous procedures to earn the prestigious certification, he said. The company will continue its efforts to expand secure and certified recycling services to its customers throughout the Midwest and beyond, he added.

The R2 Standard is one of the leading certifications in the electronics recycling industry designed to ensure the quality, transparency, and environmental and social responsibility of e-recyclers are upheld.

Sadoff E-Recycling and Data Destruction is a subsidiary of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin-based Sadoff Iron & Metal Co. It accepts electronics items including computers, mobile devices, monitors, televisions, power supplies, network equipment, computer parts and accessories and media/storage devices, which goes through three levels of data destruction services before they are recycled.
