Sadoff Iron & Metal Oshkosh Plant to Engage in E-Waste Recycling

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sadoff Iron & Metal Company- a leader in scrap metal recycling industry announced that its Oshkosh, Wisconsin business will focus on electronics recycling. The decision comes in the wake of growing market for e-waste recycling and data destruction services in the region.

According to company press release, the facility will be restructured to deal exclusively in electronics recycling and safe data destruction operations. Consequently, the facility will restrict ferrous and non-ferrous metallic scrap recycling operations with effect from December 21 this year. Meantime, the facility will continue to accept scrap metal, but customers will not be paid for it, company press release noted. It also noted that the other company locations will continue to accept and pay for scrap metal.

Mark Lasky, CEO, Sadoff Iron & Metal  stated the company’s intention to grow Sadoff E-Recycling & Data Destruction as part of the scrap metal company, not only in Oshkosh, but also in Fox Valley and across the country.

The Oshkosh site, located at 26 E. 10th Ave. will be open 7AM to 4PM Monday to Friday. The used electronics items accepted by the site include Computers, Desktops, Laptops, Towers, Network Equipment, Monitors, Televisions, Computer Accessories, Miscellaneous Electronics, Computer parts, Power Supplies, Media/Storage Devices, Batteries, Phones, Tablets, Audio/Visual Equipment, Printers, Copiers, Fax Machines, Gaming Consoles, Cable Boxes and Military/Government Equipment.
