Green Bay Packaging To Acquire Interstate Packaging Corp.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Green Bay Packaging Inc. has continued to expand its footprints with the acquisition of Albert Lea, MN-based Interstate Packaging Corp, effective 30^th June, 2022.

The Albert Lea facility of Interstate Packaging offers quality service to customers in South Central Minnesota, Southwest Wisconsin, Iowa and Eastern South Dakota. The company manufactures and distributes innovative, high-quality corrugated products, including custom corrugated boxes, custom printed cartons and oversized custom boxes. The acquisition brings the team of employees with a strong work ethic and a strong commitment to quality solutions to the fold of Green Bay Packaging.

Commenting on the acquisition, Will Kress, Chairman and CEO of Green Bay Packaging noted that the acquisition of Interstate Packaging is a great fit for the company. The acquisition gives the company an opportunity to grow its business in Minnesota and Iowa. Green Bay Packaging looks forward to expanding the businesses and facilities in future, Kress added.

Meantime, Steve Tripp, Interstate Packaging Corp. said that the transaction will provide access to additional tools and help it to service its customers’ needs on a much larger scale.
