Green Bay Packaging Announced Construction of New Corrugator Plant

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Green Bay Packaging Inc. announced plans to build new corrugator plant in Fort Worth, Texas. The construction of the 600,000 square foot plant is scheduled to begin during the first quarter this year, with startup of operations expected by Q2 2023.

According to company press release, the new plant will replace the company’s current 200,000 square foot corrugator plant in Fort Worth, which has been in operation for over five decades now. The proposed new plant will feature modern equipment including 110” Fosber corrugator, in addition to state-of-the-art high speed flexo folder glues and rotary die cutters, aimed at boosting the output.

The announcement is yet another step in the company’s ongoing expansion and growth plans. Over the past one year period, the company has completed the startup of the Green Bay Recycled Paper Mill and Tulsa, OK box plant. In addition, the expansion of its Folding Carton operation and the newly acquired Third Dimension sheet plant in Geneva, Ohio is under progress.

Will Kress, President, and CEO, Green Bay Packaging said that the Fort Worth operation is an important part of the company portfolio and that it looks forward to the next phase in Fort Worth.
