SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Cascades Inc. announced commissioning of a new production site in Tacoma, Washington in the western U.S. Also, it launched new products under its northbox brand of insulated boxes for fresh food. The above developments are in line with the company’s expansion plans in the isothermal distribution market.

The Tacoma production site hosts a new automated line for manufacturing isothermal packaging under the northbox brand. The state-of-the-art automation systems will boost the production capacity, thus helping the company to expand its geographic footprints in the growing isothermal distribution market. Furthermore, it will open up opportunities in the Western North American region, to serve rising customer demands.

Alongside, Cascades is in the process of expanding its line of eco-designed, recyclable northbox OCEAN products, which contains a minimum of 65% recycled fibre. The proprietary sealing technology helps to maintain freshness during transportation. Furthermore, the automated assembly system developed by its experts guarantee minimized cost for the client.
