E.C Aluminum Wire shall consist of clean E.C. aluminum, chopped or shredded, free of screening, hair-wire, iron, copper, insulation and other non-metallic items. Further, it must be free of minus 20 mesh material and must contain 99.45% aluminum content.
E.C. Aluminum wires are light weight. The other features are high thermal conductivity and high electrical conductivity. The electrical conductivity of E.C Aluminum wire is more than twice that of copper per pound. This makes it a better alternative to copper in certain electrical winding applications.
In accordance with the latest Scrap Specifications Circular 2017 released by the Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI), Aluminum Radiators may be included in the ISRI Code ‘Tall’.

E.C Aluminum Wires are found inside different gauged wires. They are often shielded with rubber or plastic outer layer. These wires are recovered by stripping apart its outer shield. Since these wires are no less than 99.45% pure, it often fetches high value.
