Victoria Gold Posted New Gold Output Record in 2021

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Victoria Gold Corp. announced gold production results from Eagle gold mine during the fourth quarter and full year 2021.

According to company press release, the yearly gold production totalled 164,222 ounces in 2021, which is marginally higher than the previously announced guidance of 162,000 ounces. The production surged higher by 41% when compared with the prior year. The production had totalled 116,644 ounces in 2020.

Meantime, the Q4 2021 gold production, at 49,497 ounces, edged lower when compared with 55,827 ounces prior quarter. However, it was significantly higher from 26,759 ounces of production in Q1 and 32,140 ounces in Q2 last year. The mining rate for the quarter was 62,000 tonnes per day, down significantly from 76,000 tonnes per day in Q3 2021.

The company stated that detailed commentary regarding quarterly production as well as commentary regarding financial statements will be included in the company's Management Discussion and Analysis and the accompanying management conference calls.

John McConnel, CEO, Victoria Gold noted that the Eagle operations team had been very innovative in adjusting to conditions amidst challenges from Covid-19 pandemic, in helping the company achieve record annual gold production in 2021. The current year is likely to present new challenges, he added.
