SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Kent, Washington-based electronics recycler Total Reclaim Inc. announced transition of ownership. Bobby Farris, CEO of the company has purchased a majority stake from its previous owners Craig Lorch and Jeffrey Zirkle. Further to this, Lorch and Zirkle will no longer have any interest in the company.

Farris became the CEO of Total Reclaim and its subsidiary, EcoLights NW, in 2019 after former leaders Craig Lorch and Jeffrey Zirkle were sentenced to prison on charges of committing wire fraud. Earlier in 2022, Zirkle was sentenced on allegations of tax fraud in connection with using company funds for personal expenses.
The US EPA investigation had revealed that the previous owners of the company earned Kong millions of dollars through Total Reclaim by promising to recycle safely electronic products, but instead secretly exported them to Hong Kong, where they were treated in an environmentally unsafe manner.
Farris noted thanked the hard work and perseverance of the Total Reclaim team in support of his efforts to restore confidence in the brands. It is time to move the company forward independently. Furthermore, he said that he is excited about the future of the company and that he is eager to lead the team into a new phase of growth and prosperity.
