SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Ohio-based Gregory Industries announced plans to build a $30 million manufacturing facility in Athens. The investment is expected to bring around 100 new jobs in the region.
The company will build a 325,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility in Elm Industrial Park. The construction of the proposed plant is expected to begin in March 2022, with operations likely to start next fall. The project demonstrates the strong partnership between Gregory Industries, Limestone County and the City of Athens.

Matt Gregory, CEO, Gregory Industries noted that the new facility will expand the company’s regional manufacturing capability, thereby allowing it to serve its customers in the Southeast in a faster and more cost-effective manner. The company is excited to grow in Athens, he added.
