SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI) welcomed the remarks made by U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer at the Global Steel Forum on Steel Excess Capacity (GFSEC) ministerial meeting held on October 10, 2025, in South Africa. Chaired by Australia, the ministerial gathering took place alongside the G20 Trade and Investment Ministers meeting.
