Sonoco Nominated Lisa Weeks as Head of Investor Relations

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Hartsville, S.C.-based global sustainable packaging leader Sonoco has named Lisa Weeks as the Vice President of Investor Relations. She succeeds Roger Schrum who will retire after a 16-year career with Sonoco. Weeks will report to Howard Coker, President and CEO. Meantime, Schrum will stay on through June to help with the transition.

Most recently, Weeks Senior Vice President, Head of Investor Relations and Chief Strategy Officer at Benchmark Electronics, Inc. Prior to that, she has also served a number of roles in operations and corporate development at the company. Before that, she also held various positions with Line-X and Teledyne Brown Engineering. She has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University and a Master of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University.

Howard Coker, Sonoco President and Chief Executive Officer extended a heartfelt thanks to Roger for his many contributions through the years. He wished Roger all the best in the new chapter in his life. Lisa brings a broad range of strategy, operations and investor relations experience which will benefit the company, he added.
