Sonoco Announced Expansion of Sustainable Flexible Packaging Solutions Portfolio

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sonoco announced that it has been pre-qualified for How2Recycle Store Drop-off labels for the EnviroFlex PE line of mono-material flexible packaging products.

According to company press release, the following items from EnviroFlex suite of sustainable flexible packaging option have received the How2Recyle pre-qualification for the Store Drop-off recyclable label- EnviroFlex PE Premade Pouches and Rollstock, EnviroFlex PE Bags and EnviroFlex PE Cold Seal Flow Wrap.

Sonoco offers specific solutions within each of these product categories, such as pre-qualified structures including clear, opaque, and monolayer with high barrier options. It will be the responsibility of the brand owner to secure this label for on-pack claims, said the company press release.
