The ornaments were seized following failure by the persons to provide valid bill of purchase. The four were detained in Golantara police station.

The GST and IT authorities have been informed about the seizure, who will further investigate the case. According to police, the persons were allegedly transporting the ornaments from Tamil Nadu to be sold to jewellers in Behrampur, Odisha.
