The company has helped in diverting devices including old computers, televisions and cell phones from landfills, thus preventing release of toxic materials into the environment.
SalvageData Canada collects electronic waste from individuals and businesses, which are processed at their facility in Toronto. The facility sorts, dismantles and tests the e-waste. The usable components are used to repair and refurbish other electronic devices. The remaining materials are recycled or disposed of responsibly.
