SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Phoenix, Arizona-headquartered R3eWaste announced opening of its new electronics recycling facility in Austin, Texas. The new facility is located at 2216 Rutland Dr., Suite B in Austin.
According to company press release, the 10,000-square-foot e-waste recycling facility will serve both residential as well as commercial customers. Kyle Sanders, CEO of R3eWaste Austin stated that the company is honoured to open its new electronics recycling center in north Austin. It will build the company’s reputation as an industry-leading recycler in the entire Greater Texas region. It looks forward to serve the residential and business community in the region, he added.
The residential customers will be allowed to drop off computers and other electronic items at the designated residential drop-off area behind their buildings. The accepted electronic waste includes computers, monitors, TVs, printers, cellphones, batteries, cameras, audio equipment, UPS devices, credit card devices and other standard electrical components. Kitchen appliances are not accepted.
Also, residential drop-offs will be accepted at R3eWaste facility during business hours. Some residential components and devices incur a small fee.
