South Carolina’s Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved job development credits related to the project.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Conyers, Georgia-based Pratt Industries, one of the largest privately held packaging and recycling companies in the U.S., has announced a major $92.5 million investment to establish a new manufacturing facility in York County, South Carolina. The new plant will be located on the same site where the company currently operates a recycling facility, further strengthening its vertically integrated recycling and packaging operations.
The expansion is expected to create approximately 116 new manufacturing jobs, contributing significantly to the region’s economic growth and employment opportunities.

Anthony Pratt, Global Executive Chairman of Pratt Industries, expressed enthusiasm about the company’s continued growth in South Carolina and the mid-Atlantic region. The South Carolina Coordinating Council for Economic Development has approved job development credits to support the project and awarded a $400,000 set-aside grant to York County to assist with building improvement costs associated with the new facility.
Rock Hill Mayor John Gettys welcomed the announcement, stating that the community looks forward to Pratt Industries’ expanded presence in York County. He assured that the city will provide the company with a skilled workforce and reliable utility services to ensure long-term operational success.
