The company reiterated its commitment to complete the facility’s pre-engineering and filing necessary provincial environmental approvals to achieve its targeted late 2023 restart date, said Carlo Dal Monte, Vice President of Energy and Business Development, Paper Excellence. The efforts to secure funding arrangements are in progress. The company is currently engaged in consultations with key indigenous partners and key business partners so as to ensure fibre supply for the mill’s operations.

Paper Excellence looks forward to work in collaboration with the City of Prince Albert and municipal partners towards a late-2023 mill restart.
