Paper Excellence Ramps Up Prince Albert Pulp Mill Restart

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Paper Excellence announced that it is excited to build its Prince Albert team. The company announced appointment of personnel for several key positions, as it prepares to ramp up the mill restart.

The company hired Charles Ray as Director, Project Delivery. His role will be to ensure that the project is completed in time, within budget and in conformance to all safety and environmental guidelines.

Paper Excellence press release also announced several key appointments. It hired Bob Hajnal as Project Safety Manager, Brett Knoll as QA/QC Project Manager, Dale Richardson as Community Relations Manager, Blair Rydberg as Power and Recovery Manager, Heather Walker as Operations Administration Assistant and Brett Young as DCS/Power Distribution Project Manager.

Graham Kissack, Vice President, Environment, Health and Safety & Corporate Communication stated that the additions to its Prince Albert team and its ongoing works at the mill demonstrate the company’s commitment to reopening the mill and investing in the community and northern Saskatchewan.

The Prince Albert mill is scheduled for H2 2023 restart. Upon full operations, it will employ nearly 200 workers, generating $300 million per annum in economic benefits to the province.
