Nucor Announced Key Changes to Top Executive Team

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Charlotte, North Carolina-headquartered Nucor Corporation announced changes to its top executive management.

According to company press release, Craig A. Feldman, Executive Vice President of Raw Materials will retire in June this year, after long 35 years of glorious service with Nucor and The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ). Feldman, who joined DJJ in 1986 as a Brokerage Representative, became the President of DJJ in 2013. Later in 2008, he became a Vice President and General Manager of Nucor when DJJ was acquired by Nucor. In 2018, he was promoted to Executive Vice President of Nucor and has been serving as the President of DJJ until 31st December, 2020.

In a related news, the company announced promotion of Daniel R. Needham will be promoted to Executive Vice President of Bar and Rebar Fabrication Products, effective February 1, 2021. He is currently the Vice President and General Manager of Nucor Steel Indiana.

Leon Topalian, President and CEO, Nucor thanked Craig for his leadership. Over the three and a half decades long career, he has contributed significantly to the success of DJJ and Nucor. Further, he said that Daniel will be a great addition to the company’s executive management team.
