SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Scrap Management Industries, Inc. (SMI), one of the Midwest’s leading ferrous and nonferrous metal recycling companies, has announced the acquisition of Kansas-based Allmetal Recycling, strengthening its regional footprint and operational capacity.

The deal adds Allmetal’s network of 10 recycling locations across Kansas, including three yards in Wichita and additional facilities in Salina, Newton, Harper, McPherson, Great Bend, Kingman and Pratt. Following the acquisition, SMI will operate 19 yards across Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma, supported by five automobile shredders, including two Mega Shredders, with services extending into surrounding states.
