SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Stow, Ohio-headquartered Regency Technologies announced major expansion of its operations through acquisition of GEEP USA and GEEP Costa Rica from the Toronto-based Giampaolo Group of Companies. The transaction will further enhance its leading position in electronics recycling and IT asset disposition (ITAD) service sectors.
The acquisition covers GEEP USA’s facilities in Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Durham, North Carolina, and GEEP Costa Rica’s Cartago facility.

Jim Levine, co-founder and president of Regency Technologies stated that the company is excited to bring the acquired operations under the Regency brand, which in turn will help to expand the company’s footprints and offer better services to all its stakeholders. The acquisition will bring Regency’s total number of facilities to ten- nine in the U.S. and one in Costa Rica, Levine said.
Apart from Stow headquarters facility, Regency Technologies currently has six more locations at Olympia, Chicago, Phoenix, Dallas, Austell and Brooksville.
