Those units or parts found unable to be reused or refurbished, will be shredded and sorted by SRS to recover valuable materials.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Sims Recycling Solutions (SRS) announced that it has been selected by SURFsara as their e-waste recycling vendor. The partnership will ensure that all of SURFsara’s electronic assets will be responsibly handled by SRS, in a way that contributes to circular economy. The new deal is part of SRS's goal to expand its electronics recycling services.
The end-of-life electronic equipment with SURFsura will be returned to SRS for proper disposition. SRS will make an assessment of the devices for responsible redeployment or recycling. Prior to this, SRS will ensure that all data contained in the devices are erased securely.

The assets are resold to end users, who have to trade in their own used assets, thereby creating a circular trade-in platform. The program accepts a comparable unit for recycling in return for every unit sold. This will significantly boost e-waste recycling volumes and prevent hazardous electronic items from getting dumped in landfills or incinerated.
Those units or parts found unable to be reused or refurbished, will be shredded and sorted by SRS to recover valuable materials.
The partnership is aimed at reducing e-waste to zero, by promoting reuse and attracting more volumes for recycling.
