Eric Ingebretsen, chief commercial officer for TES stated that the company is looking to have a minimum of five processing facilities across the U.S.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Singapore-headquartered E-scrap and ITAD firm TES, as part of expanding its global footprint, has announced its decision to work on a new facility in Seattle, USA.

The company already has two processing facilities in the U.S. East Coast region. It had opened its first U.S. facility in the Atlanta area in 2018. Robust business at the facility led to the opening of a second facility in Fredericksburg, Va last year. Between these two facilities, the company processes around 35,000 electronic devices per month including servers, laptops and personal computers.

The proposed Seattle processing facility will have nearly 40,000-square-foot size and is slated to open before the end of September this year. The company has finally decided to choose Seattle as the site for its new location, over Las Vegas; Reno, Nev.; or Sacramento, Calif, owing to anticipated huge volumes of material coming out of it. The new site will take the company’s total U.S. processing capacity to over 50,000 units per month.

Eric Ingebretsen, chief commercial officer for TES stated that the company is looking to have a minimum of five processing facilities across the U.S. The company will be installing electronics for a major customer as well as retiring devices from that business from its Seattle business, he added.
