Copper Radiator scrap declined $0.05 per Lb. Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu/Al Radiator Ends, and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe prices remained unchanged. Cu Yokes slipped $0.01 per Lb from the previous day.
Romex Wire prices edged lower by $0.03 per Lb. Harness Wire 35% Recovery and Heater Cores each dipped $0.02 per Lb during the day. Scrap Electric Motors, Sealed Units, Starters, and Xmas Lights saw no change from the previous day's price levels.
Aluminum Scrap Prices Edge Higher Across Multiple Grades
1100 Scrap, 3003 Scrap, 356 Aluminum Wheels, 6063 Extrusions/Fe, 6063 Extrusions, 5052 Scrap, and 6061 Extrusions all rose $0.01 per Lb compared with the previous day.
Al/Cu Radiators, Al/Cu Radiators/Fe, Aluminum Radiators, Aluminum Radiators/Fe, and Aluminum Transformers held steady on the Index.
Breakage 50% Recovery and Chrome Wheels each edged higher by $0.01 per Lb as of August 7, 2026. Mixed Aluminum Turnings, Litho Sheets, MLC Clips, Old Cast, Old Sheet, Painted Siding, UBC, and Zorba 90% NF were also up $0.01 per Lb over the previous day.
Meanwhile, E.C. Aluminum Wire prices posted the day's strongest gain, rising $0.02 per Lb from the previous day's level.
