Attero has plans to start a greenfield facility in Poland, Europe, the works of which are already in progress.
SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Attero- the leading e-waste and battery recycling company announced major investment aimed at ramping up its e-waste and battery recycling capacity. Currently, the company has capacity to recycle up to 144,000 tonnes of e-waste and 15,000 tonnes of batteries per year.
Announcing the investment plan, Nitin Gupta, CEO and Co-Founder, Attero stated that it plans to invest around INR 8,300 crore over the next five years, inclusive of all forms of capital. The company has been growing 100% year-on-year and gradually increasing its processing capacity, he noted.

Attero has plans to start a greenfield facility in Poland, Europe, the works of which are already in progress. Also, it is in the process of finalizing the site for the proposed new greenfield facility in India. The company targets to boost its e-waste recycling capacity to nearly 415,000 tonnes per annum and its battery recycling capacity to around 50,000 tonnes per annum within a year.
The company had reported revenue of around INR 285 crore in the financial year 2023 and INR 440 crore in the financial year 2024. This year, the company expects its revenue to surpass INR 1,000 crore. The company expects to boost its market share from 25% to 35% by next year.
