SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Data released by the International Aluminium Institute (IAI) indicates steady global primary aluminum production to close out 2025. December's total output reached 6.296 million tonnes, reflecting a modest year-on-year increase of 0.5%. A more indicative measure of underlying production strength, the daily average output, stood at 203,100 tonnes for the month.
A regional breakdown shows that production outside of China and non-reported areas totaled 2.315 million tonnes in December, with a corresponding daily average of 74,700 tonnes. This sustained output from the rest of the world highlights a balanced global supply picture, contributing to overall market stability.
For downstream fabricators and engineering focused buyers, this consistency at the smelter level is crucial. It translates into predictable raw material availability, forming a solid foundation for reliable manufacturing planning and cost management. Stable primary metal flows are essential for ensuring the consistent metallurgical properties required in high performance aluminum products.
Our operations are strategically positioned to leverage this stable supply environment. We specialize in transforming primary aluminum into high precision, semi finished products. Our core offerings include custom sized aluminum plate, extruded bar and rod, and a comprehensive range of drawn tubing, all produced to meet stringent industry specifications.
