Shuicheng Steel's daily production hits a record 15, 662 metric tons

Shuicheng Iron and Steel Co., a Guizhou Province-based Chinese steel maker, said that its daily crude steel production reached a record 15, 662 metric tons on February 15. The company produced 4,513 metric tons of crude steel from its steel melting plant No. 1 and 11,149 metric tons from its steel melting plant No. 2 .

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): Shuicheng Iron and Steel Co., a Guizhou Province-based Chinese steel maker, said that its daily crude steel production reached a record 15, 662 metric tons on February 15. The company produced 4,513 metric tons of crude steel from its steel melting plant No. 1 and 11,149 metric tons from its steel melting plant No. 2 .
Shuicheng Steel, a subsidiary of Shougang Group, also said that its crude steel production may hit
5.05 million metric tons in 2012 and pig iron production to reach 4.9 million metric tons .
In 2011, Shuicheng Steel earned an operating revenue of RMB 16.847 billion ($2.66 billion), while it produced 3,728,414 mt of pig iron, 4,010,855 mt of crude steel and 3,882,932 mt of finished steel.
