Market Update-Mar 20th, 2015: North American copper scrap prices rise sharply

TORONTO (Scrap Monster): The North American copper scrap prices rebounded sharply on ScrapMonster Price Index  as on March 20^th, Friday.

Alternator prices increased by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing rose by $0.08 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also up by $0.08 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went higher by $ 0.08 per Lb.

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery and #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery went higher by $0.04 and $0.02 per Lb respectively from the previous day. The prices of #3 Copper-Light copper were up by $ 0.07 per Lb.

The prices of Cu Yokes and Copper Transformer Scrap appreciated by $0.01 per Lb on March 20^th.

Copper Radiator prices were up by $0.02 per Lb at $1.75 per Lb.

Cu/Al Radiator Ends prices were up by $0.01 per Lb over the day.

The price of Cu/Al Radiators and Cu/Al Radiators/Fe increased by $0.02 and $0.01 per Lb respectively.

Heater Cores prices rose by $0.02 per Lb. Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices too appreciated by $0.01 per Lb.

Romex Wire prices moved higher by $0.03 per Lb over the previous day.

Scrap Electric Motors and Xmas Lights prices appreciated by $0.01 per Lb.

Sealed units and Starter prices witnessed no daily variation in prices on March 20^th.
