MUMBAI (Scrap Monster): Indian scrap metal prices rose on Monday both in Mumbai and Delhi metal market.

In Mumbai metal market, copper heavy scrap and copper armetur prices surged by Rs 5000 per ton and copper cable scrap and copper sheet cutting prices rose by Rs 3000 per ton on Monday.

Copper utensil scrap prices also traded higher in Mumbai metal market, which advanced to Rs 447000 per ton from Rs 445000 per ton previously.

In Delhi metal market, copper bars, copper rod and copper scrap prices all advanced by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 494 per kg, Rs 492 and Rs 444 per kg, respectively.
