WFP Declared Two Key Appointments to its Board of Directors

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Vancouver, B.C.-based Western Forest Products Inc. announced appointment of Mr. Randy Krotowski and Mr. John Williamson as independent directors to its Board of Directors. With this, the number of new appointments to the Board over the past two years has reached four.

The company press release noted that Mr. James Arthurs and Mr. Lee Doney will not stand for re-election as directors at the company’s Annual and Special Meeting to be held on May 6, 2021. It must be noted that they have been serving as members of the Board since July 2004. The new appointments are in line with the company’s ongoing Board renewal and succession process and demonstrates its commitment to strong corporate governance practices, it added.

Mr. Michael Waites, Chairman of Western thanked Mr. Arthurs and Mr. Doney for the dedication and significant contributions they brought to the Board over the last 16 years.
