SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Pittsburgh-based leading steelmaker United States Steel Corporation (U.S. Steel) has been named to the List of the Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces for 2022 published by digital news organization Newsweek in association with the Best Practice Institute (BPI) - the Florida-based leading global research company.
The company was ranked 71st in the list which ranks companies based on employee sentiment and satisfaction at workplace in 2022. This is the second consecutive year that the company has been features in the prestigious list. The list was derived after comprehensive evaluation of companies based on employee survey responses, analysis of external public ratings, direct interviews with and written responses from company officials and additional research into every company by Newsweek.
David B. Burritt, President and CEO, U.S. Steel commented that the company is honoured to appear on the prestigious list for the second consecutive year. The results were finalized after surveying more than 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000, he said. The honour demonstrates the respect, caring, and appreciation extended by the company to its employees.
