ARKANSAS (Scrap Monster): University of Arkansas will host an e-waste recycling drive in partnership with Esco Processing and Recycling LLC (EPR) for University staffs and students.
The event will held on March 16 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Lot 46 at the University of Arkansas across from Bud Walton Arena on Razorback Road.
All electronics, including large appliances (except refrigerators), will be accepted at the drive on Wednesday. Hard drive destruction as well as Certificates of Destruction will be available. There will be a fee of $5 for televisions and computer monitors, but all other electronics will be processed for free.
Esco Processing and Recycling is a local electronic waste recycler that holds e-Steward and 14001 Certifications. These certifications ensure that EPR is held to the highest standard of accountability when processing and disposing of e-Waste, 4029tv.com reported.
