Texas Lumber Manufacturer to Open New Plant in Alabama

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Fort Worth, Texas-headquartered Conner Industries, Inc. Announced its decision to open a new manufacturing plant in Montgomery, Alabama. The proposed plant, to be opened on 1st November, 2019, will offer employment to nearly 100 people over the next year.

According to company press release, the manufacturing facility will spread over 87,000 square foot. It will be one of the company’s largest full-service facilities that will integrate many of the latest packaging capabilities. The facility hosts spacious areas for product storage, both indoor and outdoor. In addition, it will also feature a large assembly area and a loading dock. Furthermore, the new facility marks company’s expansion into the Alabama market.

This is the third manufacturing facility added by the company in the past one year period. The addition is part of its strategic plan to expand into packaging services using sustainable products. In total, Conner Industries, Inc. currently operates 13 plants spread across 10 U.S. states.

David Dixon, CEO, Conner Industries stated that the new location aligns well with the needs of its customers. The strategic location of the plant will help the company to remain at the industry forefront by continuing to provide the state-of-the-art industrial wood and packaging solutions.
