SEATTLE (Scrap Monster):  Evansville, IN-located electronics recycler C&I Electronics has joined the TERRA’s Done with IT mail-in recycling program. The company will now provide certified electronics recycling services to customers, in partnership with TERRA, from its R2 certified e-waste recycling facility in Evansville.

The ‘Done with IT’ mail-in e-waste recycling program allows direct shipment of a wide range of devices including laptops, desktops, cell phones and hard drives to TCG’s certified e-waste recycling facilities. All the devices thus collected will be recycled responsibly or refurbished for reuse conforming to certification standards following safe destruction of data in them.

Steven Napoli, president and CEO of TERRA stated that certified businesses like C&I adhere to rigorous standards, thereby protecting individuals and organizations against data breach and effectively mitigating the dangers associated with improper e-waste disposal.

Meantime, Jordan Cravens, Manager, C&I observed that e-waste crisis is growing as a key issue at the national, state and local level. The company is excited to expand its role to provide more options to solve the crisis, especially in underserved communities, he added.
