Stora Enso Unveiled Innovative Range of Plastics-Free Packaging Solution

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Stora Enso launched new eco-friendly take-away bowls for food packaging. The PureFiber range of products is free from plastics and PFAS and is expected to replace plastic packaging solutions. The company has partnered with wholesale company Tingstad in developing the new product.

According to press release by the company, the carbon footprint of the new product is lower by nearly 75%, in comparison with alternative solutions made of plastic or bagasse. The sustainable alternative is renewable, recyclable and biodegradable, which essentially means that they are specifically designed for circularity. They are made of natural wood fibres sourced from sustainably managed forests.
