Vulcraft has been part of Nucor since 1962, when its acquisition marked the company’s entry into the steel business. The Indiana operation opened in 1972 and is now one of nine Vulcraft plants in North America. Vulcraft manufactures structural steel products widely used in warehouses, data centers, schools, hospitals, retail buildings and other construction projects.
