EU Steel imports decline 34.43% in July: Eurofer

BRUSSELS (Scrap Monster): European Union's (EU) overall steel imports reached 1.186 million metric tons (mt) in July, declined 5.72% month-on-month and down 34.43% year-on-year, as per the latest data released by the European Steel Association (Eurofer).

According to the data, EU imports 968,000 mt of flat steel and 218,000 mt of long steel in July.
