SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Dublin, Ireland-based leading corrugated and paper-based packaging company Smurfit Westrock has been named in the 2025 Forbes Global 2000 list of the world’s largest and most successful public companies.
The esteemed ranking serves as a benchmark for evaluating a company's financial strength and worldwide influence. The businesses on the list were chosen after a careful assessment based on a number of factors, such as market value, sales, profitability, and assets. Smurfit Westrock was acknowledged on the list as "the highest-ranking new company to join the list."

The company is honored to be on the Forbes list nearly a year after proudly launching as Smurfit Westrock, said Tony Smurfit, President and Chief Executive Officer, in response to the historic accomplishment. He continued by saying that the honor is a tribute to the gifted and driven individuals propelling this business ahead and generating genuine momentum.
Smurfit Westrock was been listed as one of the World's Most Sustainable Companies by TIME magazine.
The company operates 59 paper mills and more than 500 packaging conversion facilities across more than 40 counties.
The 2,000 companies on the 2025 list account for $52.9 trillion in annual revenue, $4.9 trillion in profit, $242.2 trillion in assets and $91.3 trillion in market cap.
