SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): If you noticed a large smoke plume in downtown Chattanooga Tuesday afternoon, you're not alone.

Crews worked to put out a large scrap metal fire at SA Recycling.

This is located on West 19th Street.

The Chattanooga Fire Department says a firefighter received a 'heat related injury' while fighting the flames.

CFD says metal, car parts, fuel tanks, and water heaters burned.

Luckily, CFD says no buildings were caught in the blaze.

CFD says a firefighter has been transported to the hospital with a heat-related injury.

He was working in the bucket on this ladder during the extended response.

CFD says the firefighter was treated and released from the hospital.

As of 6:42 p.m., CFD says the fire is out.
