Seattle Electronics Recycler Partners with TERRA’s ‘Done with IT’ Mail-In Program

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Seattle-based Friendly Earth International Inc., announced that it has joined the ‘Done with IT’ mail-in electronics recycling program by The Electronics Reuse & Recycling Alliance (TERRA). The company will provide e-waste recycling services from its e-Stewards certified facility located in 1560, First Avenue South.

By partnering with the program, the company hopes to contribute effectively in reducing the impacts of electronic waste on the environment. The partnership with TERRA is expected to help the company achieve this aim during the Covid-19 pandemic. Incidentally, the mail-in program has been offering electronics recycling services to customers throughout these difficult times.

Steven Napoli, president and CEO of TERRA noted that the ‘Done with IT’ program has been successful in offering physically distant e-waste recycling and IT asset disposition (ITAD) services for businesses and consumers alike, especially during times when most e-waste recycling services had to be suspended due to shutdowns following the pandemic spread. The program actively seeks more certified recycling partners like Friendly Earth, he added.

Meantime, Andrew Shute, president of Friendly Earth said that the new partnership will lead to expansion of e-waste recycling options during this crisis period and beyond.
