BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices witnessed no variation on ScrapMonster Price Index as of Friday, September 19, 2025. Copper and Brass/Bronze scrap prices were up from the previous day. Stainless Steel scrap prices were flat when matched with the prior day’s prices. Also, Steel scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were up by CNY 300 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing price saw a jump of CNY 300 per MT.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also increased by CNY 300 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were up by CNY 150 per MT over the previous day’s price. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed a jump of CNY 50 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were flat on the Index.
Cu/Al Radiators saw an increase in prices by CNY 50 per MT.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were unchanged over the previous day.
The price of Heater Cores was up by CNY 100 per MT on Friday, September 19, 2025.
Meanwhile, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices held steady on the Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions recorded no change over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices also were flat on the Index.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers held steady on the Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices witnessed no variation on the Index.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices also held steady on September 19, 2025.
The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF were flat from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on September 19, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap also reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices recorded no change on the Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices also were flat on the Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices were unchanged when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices recorded no variation as of September 19, 2025.
Shred SS prices held steady over the previous day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded increase from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices recorded no change as of Friday, September 19, 2025.
On the Index, the price of Yellow Brass and Red Brass rose by CNY 50 per MT.
