BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices increased on ScrapMonster Price Index as of Tuesday, October 21, 2025. Stainless Steel scrap prices were up from the previous day. Copper and Brass/Bronze scrap prices were flat when matched with the prior day’s prices. In the meantime, Steel scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were unchanged on the Index.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing price saw no variation over the day.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also held steady.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices were flat over the previous day’s price. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed no change when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices were flat on the Index.
Cu/Al Radiators prices held steady when compared with previous day’s prices.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were unchanged over the previous day.
The price of Heater Cores witnessed no change on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
Meanwhile, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units prices also held steady on the Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions recorded a jump of CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices also were up by CNY 50 per MT on the Index.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers held steady on the Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices witnessed an increase of CNY 50 per MT on the Index.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices also witnessed a rise of CNY 50 per MT each on October 21, 2025.
The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF were flat from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on October 21, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap also reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices recorded no change on the Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices also were flat on the Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices were up by CNY 50 per MT each when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices recorded a jump of CNY 50 per MT as of October 21, 2025.
Shred SS prices held steady over the previous day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded no change from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices held steady as of Tuesday, October 21, 2025.
On the Index, the prices of Yellow Brass and Red Brass were flat.
