BEIJING (Scrap Monster): The Chinese aluminum scrap prices increased on ScrapMonster Price Index as of Friday, October 31, 2025. Copper and Brass/Bronze scrap prices were down from the previous day. Stainless Steel scrap prices were flat when matched with the prior day’s prices. Also, Steel scrap prices held steady on the Index.
Copper Scrap Prices
The #1 Copper Bare Bright prices were down by CNY 900 per MT.
#1 Copper Wire and Tubing price saw a dip of CNY 900 per MT.
The price of #2 Copper Wire and Tubing also declined by CNY 900 per MT.
#1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery prices went lower by CNY 450 per MT over the previous day’s price. The price of #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery witnessed a drop of CNY 100 per MT when compared with the day before.
Copper Transformer and Cu Yokes scrap prices edged lower by CNY 50 per MT each on the Index.
Cu/Al Radiators saw a dip in prices by CNY 100 per MT.
Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices were down by CNY 50 per MT over the previous day.
The price of Heater Cores was down by CNY 350 per MT on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Meanwhile, Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed Units dropped by CNY 50 per MT each on the Index.
Aluminum Scrap Prices
6063 Extrusions recorded a jump of CNY 100 per MT over the previous day.
Aluminum Ingots prices also were up by CNY 100 per MT on the Index.
The prices of Aluminum Radiators and Aluminum Transformers edged higher by CNY 50 per MT each on the Index.
E.C Aluminum Wire prices witnessed an increase of CNY 100 per MT on the Index.
Old Cast and Old Sheet prices also recorded a rise of CNY 100 per MT each on October 31, 2025.
The prices of UBC and Zorba 90% INF were up by CNY 50 per MT from the previous day.
Steel Scrap Prices
#1 HMS prices held steady on October 31, 2025.
Cast Iron Scrap also reported no change in prices.
Stainless Steel Scrap Prices
201 SS prices recorded no change on the Index.
304 SS Solid and 304 SS Turning prices also were flat on the Index.
309 SS and 316 SS Solid prices were unchanged when compared with the prior day.
310 SS scrap prices recorded no variation as of October 31, 2025.
Shred SS prices held steady over the previous day.
Brass/Bronze Scrap Prices
The Brass/Bronze Scrap prices in China recorded increase from the previous day.
Brass Radiator scrap prices recorded a decline of CNY 100 per MT as of Friday, October 31, 2025.
On the Index, the price of Yellow Brass and Red Brass dipped by CNY 150 per MT.
