The aluminum scrap prices in the region mostly remained unchanged over the prior week.

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The weekly trend in aluminium scrap prices across worldwide aluminum scrap metal markets for the period from September 19 to 24, 2025 on the Scrap Monster Price Index are provided below:
The aluminum scrap prices in the region mostly remained unchanged over the prior week. However, a few commodities recorded minor changes.

The prices of E.C. Aluminum Wire recorded a marginal decline of 0.83%. From $1.21 per pound at the beginning of the week, prices fell by $0.01 per pound to close at $1.20 per pound on the Index.

The rest of the scrap commodities in the region held steady upon comparison with the week before.
Highlights
- The only scrap categories to record weekly increase in prices were Al/Cu Radiators and Al/Cu Radiators/Fe
- Only E.C. Aluminum Wire posted dip in weekly prices
- The prices of remaining categories held steady
The prices mostly remained flat when compared with the week before.
The prices of Al/Cu Radiators/Fe recorded week-on-week jump by 2.49%, as depicted in the weekly price chart below:
Also, Al/Cu Radiators prices were up by 2.19% during the course of the week.
The regional prices of all scrap aluminum categories, except a few, remained steady.

- Radiators, Transformers, UBC and Zorba 90% NF prices held steady week on week.

Aluminum utensil scrap prices recorded weekly decline by 1.61%
Aluminum Ingots dropped by INR 4,000 per Ton to close at INR 254,000 per Ton
The prices of all aluminium scrap categories (Aluminum Cuttings, Mixed Aluminum Turnings, Old Cast and UBC) witnessed no change during the week.
LME Aluminum Market Update
The closing price of LME Aluminum 3-Month contract stood at USD 2,665.50 per tonne as of September 25, 2025. The LME Aluminum Cash Settlement contract recorded marginal increase from $2,623.00 a day before to $2,661.50 per tonne.
The LME Aluminum stocks edged lower modestly over the previous day to close at 515,925 tonnes as of September 25, 2025, as compared with 517,150 tonnes a day before.
