Scrap Metal Collection to Benefit Local Parks

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): NEO Junk Removal and the Cortland Lions Club have partnered again to collect scrap metal to benefit parks in Cortland.

On Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Cortland Lions Club will collect scrap metal at Willow Park. They will remove the scrap metal from vehicles or trailers.

NEO Junk, as a community service, will also pick up scrap metal from homes in Cortland or Bazetta Township only, but they will not enter people’s homes to retrieve it.

Those interested in having scrap metal picked up from their homes can call 330-219-4879 starting Monday, April 15 to be put on a list to have the metal picked up on Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

NEO Junk will accept scrap metal from anyone who can bring it to Willow Park on Friday or Saturday. No computers, TVs, or propane tanks will be accepted.

All proceeds will benefit improvements to the City of Cortland Parks.
