Albertville lumber plant to shut down, laying off over 60 employees

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Over 60 workers will lose their jobs when a lumber company closes its Albertville facility on April 8, 2026, according to state workforce filings.

The company submitted a notice under the federal Work Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, which requires employers to inform officials ahead of major layoffs or plant closures. About 62 employees are expected to be affected.
