Recycled Plastic Products Manufacturer Declares Arkansas Facility Expansion

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Little Rock, Arkansas-headquartered polythene reclaimer and recycled-plastic products manufacturer, Revolution, announced fresh investment of $20 million at its Stuttgart, Arkansas facility. The proposed investment is expected to boost the facility’s recycled-content films production capacity.

The company will expand its 100,000-square-foot manufacturing facility by an additional 36,000 square feet. The expansion will add two new blown film lines, having a production capacity of over 40 million pounds of film products every year. Furthermore, the expansion will boost manufacturing of films that incorporate high levels of post-consumer recycled plastic. It will create approximately 60 new jobs over a period of two years, thus bringing the total employment at the facility to over 350, said the press release by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission.

Sean Whiteley, CEO of Revolution stated that the local and state level support for the expansion project is a clear testament of the strength of the Little Rock community and the state of Arkansas. The expansion, in line with the company’s strategic growth plan, was mainly driven by increased business demand, he added.

The company, a leader in sustainable plastic solutions, has been a leading manufacturer of new plastic products from used agricultural films for over 20 years.
