Amcor Opened Jiangyin Innovation Center

SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Leading responsible packaging solutions manufacturer Amcor announced opening of its latest Innovation Center in Jiangyin, China. The opening of the world class facility will bring advanced packaging technologies to Asia Pacific, thereby driving growth and innovation across the region.

The new center will serve as the base for collaboration for the packaging industry. It will allow parties from across the supply chain and region to share best practices and bolster development of real-time best solutions that meet customer requirement. Like other Innovation Centers, the Jiangyin facility too will have three key programs- The Catalyst Program, The Ideation and Prototyping Innovation Lab and The Applications Lab, said the company press release.

Mike Cash, President of Flexible Business- Asia Pacific noted that the facility will provide customers in the region an opportunity to collaborate hand-in-hand with its experts to make their innovative packaging ideas a reality. The new innovation center is one of many important, customer-focused investments the company plans to make in the region, he added. It must be noted that Asia Pacific has continued to be a key growth market for Amcor.
