SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): Nucor Corporation announced key changes to its top executive leadership team.
According to company press release, Ladd R. Hall, Executive Vice President will retire on June 20, 2020 after serving the company for long 39 years. Also, effective May 17, 2020, Allen C. Behr- General Manager of Nucor Steel-Texas will be promoted as Executive Vice President.
Leon Topalian, Nucor's President and CEO commented that Ladd’s retirement and Allen’s promotion are part of strategic succession planning process, which the company has been focusing on over the past several years. He thanked Ladd for his exceptional leadership and lasting contribution over the last four decades and wished him a long and happy retirement. Allen’s 24-year long experience with Nucor positions him well to take on the new responsibility, he added.
