SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): In the third quarter of 2025, Nicola Mining, a Canadian company, plans to start producing gold and silver from its $33 million milling and processing facility in Merritt, British Columbia.
According to the company's news release, Talisker Resources Inc. has begun to supply it with gold and silver ore. In July of last year, Nicola Mining signed a new milling agreement. Additionally, both businesses have been selling gold and silver concentrate in conjunction with Ocean Partners UK Limited.

At the moment, the mill is going through pre-production modification. By the third quarter of this year, the business anticipates that the facility's output will ramp up and achieve full capacity. Additionally, in order to boost its mill throughput even more, the company is currently filing for a permission amendment.
It should be mentioned that the company's Merritt mill is the only establishment in the province that is allowed to take in feed from other gold and silver mills.
In addition to starting to produce gold and silver, Nicola is getting ready to start exploring for copper at its New Craigmont Copper Project. Senior Geologist Vicente Garcia, who has worked extensively on a variety of deposit types in North and South America, was recently hired by the firm as part of its attempts to bolster its geological staff.
